Nihon Nikki is face to face in between the artist and another one. This Other can have many faces. This meeting point reveals many small actions that could be read through the tension on the performers body. To touch another Culture, radically different, in a way is the same to touch somebody's face. The abysm that bridges the distance, here, was build with a katana. The same hand that touches can hurt. The same cutting surface that kills can make a caress. This is a very tensioned ritual but it is, at the same time, very delicate and strong. It's a truly look to the abyss
